After reading all of the negative headlines about the Real Estate market in newspapers and on the inter-net from around the country, I have come to the conclusion it's time to invite you to put the family in the car, this weekend, and get out to Stansbury Park. Look at some of the beautiful new neighborhoods, clock the drive time, examine the new schools, go to the race track & sports-park and examine first hand what it would be like to move your family out of the city and back to the serenity of small town America. Tooele County.
Why would I do that you ask, If the housing market is so bad? Because builders are reading those same stories. They are seeing just like you are how many homes are looking for owners. Builders are servicing debt on those homes, just like you or I would be. They also owe on the lots, and not just the ones they are building houses on. More than likely they are also making payments on some raw land somewhere that was supposed to be developed when these houses were sold. Think they are ready to deal?

Sale of new homes fell 8.3% in Aug. and 21% from a year ago. (commerce Dept).
Worst level since June of 2000.
No end in sight for the housing slump.
The oversupply of unsold new and resale homes and downward pressure on new home values has worsened in many of our markets.
The bottom line is, there is a lot of wonderful inventory out here in Tooele County. New homes by solid builders, in great neighborhoods. The savings are tremendous. Builders want to make a deal. We want to help.
