Home Sales look good in Grantsville Utah

Home sales in Grantsville Ut. showed some good numbers in November. Not what were used to from that part of Tooele County, but there were signs of continuity in the market.

Contracts written on houses for the month actually exceeded homes closed which is a good sign. Homes entering the market (new listings) were about three and a half times the number of homes sold or three and a half months of inventory. Thats a real good absorption rate in this market. Not what weve been used to, but not bad. Actually since 18 of the 36 listings are new construction (new Homes) and the pre-construction listing price is substantially less than the average contract this month, it looks like someone in Grantsville is doing it right.

These stats are provided by the Wasatch Front Regional Listing Service (MLS) to help you make informed Real Estate decisions. The interpretation and commentary are mine.  Hope this is of interest.

Average price of new listings taken is not knowable as 18 of the listings are New Homes (to be built)

Many of the new home listings looked very interesting. Prices for Ramblers started in the high $160s with almost 1300 sq. ft. finished , and full basements. I beleive this builder NEEDS to get something sold @ Heckbert Cottages so were looking at a great opportunity for a good negotiator.

If you would like more information on on Heckbert Cottages or other New Homes In Grantsville, give me a call.  To see how to have that good negotiator on YOUR side give me a call @ 435-840-5029.
