Contrary to popular opinion, USDA Rural Loans are still alive in Tooele County.
The rumor has been buzzing around that the program offered by the USDA was out of money.
However, one of our preferred lenders spoke with the USDA just yesterday, and verified that there is still $2 billion available for USDA Rural Loans. In Tooele we dont need nearly that much.
While that number may not sound like much in the grand scheme of the US Government where trillions get tossed around, understand that this program where the United States Department Of Agriculture makes loans on homes in Rural areas isn't available for everyone. In fact, it's not available anywhere near the Wasatch Front, except Tooele County!
After the census, it likely won't be available here either, but for now, let's make hay!
